St. Francis Revival Home is a dedicated residential child care institution focused on providing emergency care for abandoned infants aged 0 to 3 years. We offer temporary residential support for children who have lost their mothers at birth, those whose mothers are experiencing mental health challenges, and children suffering from severe malnutrition who require immediate intervention to secure their well-being. Our mission is to create a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive and receive the care they deserve.
St. Francis Revival Home is located in Bwanda, Masaka Diocese, Uganda, our licensed child care institution is operated by the Institute of the Bannabikira – Daughters of Mary Sisters, a Pontifical Religious institute within the Catholic Church. Since our founding by the late Archbishop Henry Streicher in 1910.
Our mission has been to care for vulnerable children, rooted in the spirit of the Motherhood of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
