St. Francis Revival Home is a licensed child care institution situated in Bwanda, Masaka Diocese, Uganda. It is operated by the Institute of the Bannabikira – Daughters of Mary Sisters, a Pontifical Religious Institute comprising indigenous sisters within the Catholic Church. Founded in 1910 by the late Archbishop Henry Streicher, the Institute was established to support the clergy in their evangelization efforts, with a particular emphasis on children, reflecting the spirit of motherhood inspired by the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Currently, the Institute serves in 17 dioceses across East Africa, operating 78 convents and comprising a dedicated community of 611 sisters of various ages.

Our Licensing and Reach
We are officially licensed by the Ugandan Ministry of Gender to provide emergency assistance to abandoned and vulnerable children in the Greater Masaka region and beyond. Our focus is on infants and children of all genders, starting from birth, with a residential capacity of thirty children per intake. We proudly serve all children without discrimination based on ethnicity, social status, or economic background.
